Title: Had a dream
Description: what does it mean?

Mrs. Depp - July 4, 2008 05:15 AM (GMT)
If you had a dream, tell us about it and we'll try to figure out what it means.
(this is ment to be fun but serious.)

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 07:05 AM (GMT)
What if you have repeated dreams involving someone dying?

The dream isn't exactly the same every time, but the cause of death [being run over by a red car] is. I've been having them at least twice a year for 3 years.

Mrs. Depp - July 4, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
hmm... is the general time you have these dream close togather like they occur more so toward the middle of the year, or farther apart like one toward the bigining of the year and one toward the end of the year?

also is the person being ran over the same?

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 09:02 PM (GMT)
First one appears randomly, but the second is usually within a month of the first. And the one being run over is always the same.

Ark - July 4, 2008 09:05 PM (GMT)
i have a dream book.

to see others dying forebodes general ill luck to you and your friends.
to dream of seeing cars denotes journeying and changing in quick succession.

nnothing came up for red though

Mrs. Depp - July 4, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
forget the book, I think the red car is storm. because her favorite color is red, that's why the car is red.

now this 3 years business, how long have you thought about learning how to drive?

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 09:38 PM (GMT)
Only 2 years. But I don't want to drive.

Mrs. Depp - July 4, 2008 10:13 PM (GMT)
I know that. I was thinking if your thoughts about driving started about the same time as these dreams then that might tell me something about why you'd be a car, running over someone.

But you are the car, of that I am curtain.

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
Why?

The one being run over is someone I love! Does this mean I'm going to KILL them?

Mrs. Depp - July 4, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
no I don't think so.
but I do think they're going to do something you won't like.
What I don't know, when, i don't know either.

Ark - July 4, 2008 10:34 PM (GMT)
are you viewing the scene from the car, or as a 3rd person?

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 10:46 PM (GMT)
3rd person.

Kotetsu - July 4, 2008 10:54 PM (GMT)
Hmm, I've witnessed dreams where I am myself, yet I see from the third person - so the car could represent storm... maybe.

Just as a note, sorry to worry you, storm, but I've found dreams can be psychic if at least feasibly possible... I would say warn the person who gets run over, but that's paranoid. You may want to at least tell them if you haven't already?

Mrs. Depp - July 4, 2008 11:01 PM (GMT)
I rather agree with Kotetsu on this one.

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 11:08 PM (GMT)
If I could, I would... I've done everything I can as a precaution and my family knows about the dreams...

Ark - July 4, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
have you tried lucid dreaming?

Parakaitz - July 4, 2008 11:31 PM (GMT)
Yeah, but not for this particular dream.

Ark - July 4, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
i guess its kind of hard to catch isnt it

Ark - July 5, 2008 07:29 PM (GMT)
i had a dream i was feeding a dodongo

Mrs. Depp - July 5, 2008 10:41 PM (GMT)
what's a dodongo?

Parakaitz - July 8, 2008 02:46 AM (GMT)
New dream, just had it.

In it, one of my friends shows me a new pet of theirs, which just so happen to look like the same pet I wanted. I told them so, and we played with it, then my dad comes in and says things about that reminded me of the pet of the same species I had when I was little.

I woke up crying because I missed her.

poor storm, do you need a hug?
*holds arms wide open toward storm*

Parakaitz - July 8, 2008 05:33 AM (GMT)
My mom gave me a hug, I feel better now but thanks for the offer :firefox:

mrpopolike2 - July 8, 2008 05:41 AM (GMT)
Regarding the car dream, aren't you scared as fuck of cars? The dream is just a manifestation of that fear. That's all dreams are. Just a reflection of what our subconscious sees and collects, put into dream form to help you deal with them.

On a personal note, I never remember my dreams.

Parakaitz - July 8, 2008 05:43 AM (GMT)
The first two times I had the dream, yeah, that's what I thought too.

But I've had it 6 times. It has to mean something else.

Or it could be just a recurring nightmare.

Or cancer. It can really be an infinite number of things, and assuming that it's mystical or prophetic in nature is absurd.

Parakaitz - July 8, 2008 06:30 AM (GMT)
That's how I assume everything to be, remember?

J. Depp - July 13, 2008 03:13 AM (GMT)
I had a dream this morning in which all of my previous wives and girl friends, were coming after me in the form of an angery mob. (With torches and pitchforks and every thing). The only way I could escape them was to hide in the internet.

If dreams really do have meaning, what does this one mean?

J's A - July 14, 2008 05:44 AM (GMT)
It means your a wuss.

Actually, that's generally what I would have said.

Even though dreams are just a manifestation of what your subconscious has floating around, this is probably just you being a wuss.

Captain Atma-kun - July 14, 2008 06:04 PM (GMT)
I once had a dream, where I woke up, saw every wall in my bedroom burnt down. I hurried out to the lving room to see if anything had happened and I found a pile of dead bodies. The dead bodies of everyone I care about the most. And standing on top of those dead bodies was another me, who slowly turned his head, smiled at me and asked "Are you satisfied?"

What do you think THAT means?

mrpopolike2 - July 14, 2008 06:07 PM (GMT)
You secretly have fantasies about killing everyone you care about, and when your subconscious fulfilled that wish in your head, it asked if you would really be happy with that eventuality.

Like I said, subconscious working through problems.

I know I'm a wuss, its pretty much known world wide that I am no brave man. But what does that have to do with ALL my previous wives and girlfriends forming an angery mob and chasing me?

They were crazy bitches? Really, this sort of dream isn't uncommon, especially if they were indeed all crazy bitches.

You could also simply be a wuss.

J's A - July 16, 2008 06:29 PM (GMT)
Actually. I will.

User Warned for this post.

No he's pretty much just a wuss. Although that last chick, was pretty nuts. this current bitch of his is just too damn emotional.

You're done. Any more of that and I'll be forced to take action.

EDIT: I have half a mind to warn you for that, given your recent spree.

Ryouichi - July 17, 2008 10:19 PM (GMT)
Hmm. Storm. Okay you said that you see a red car running over a person you love right? And it's reoccuring. I'll assume for my reasoning that the one you love isn't the sort of love like mom/daughter.

I'll try to break this down. I don't feel that you are the car. Cars are an in born fear with you as you have said countless times. You witnessing this dream in the 3rd person only adds to my hypothesis because you don't mind cars when you are in them, yet this is a nightmare, and you're not the one driving, but merely seeing something uncontrollable occur.

Okay, the run could mean a number of things, such as anger, aggression, or even a sign of familiarity, as it's your favorite color. So including both of these, let's say this car shows something your familiar with, but are afraid of, or more precisely, something you don't like about yourself, or something involving yourself.

I feel that this is a fear of you hurting someone you love because of a knack for aggression which seems to happen without you really trying to. The 3rd person view can symbolize this, as it shows that you still have something to relate to this car, and it is still apart of you, but regardless, you cannot stop what is about to occur. This can be a problem you see with yourself, whether you let it out or not.
It can easily be read as you being afraid of someone leaving your life, one of your favorite people, not necessarily even someone you love.

Cars also symbolize quick pace, and moving. Rapidly changing a lifestyle to something new. This could also point out another fear that you know will happen. Leaving family behind could be a more physical aspect of this. Or it could be leaving previous familiarities by the wayside, most likely gone forever. (This is an interpretation, you can choose to follow along or not hehe)

As for depp, I feel that if you're referring to the angry mob of previous girlfriends, it could be one of two things. Without talking to you more, i could only go this far.

Ex-girlfriends show lost loves, where if it ended, someone was most likely hurt. I feel as if they were chasing you, it would show a hidden guilt for this. Otherwise, it would be you chasing after them, if they had broken up with you instead. Continuing from there, it could either show a hidden guilt as I talked about earlier, simple as that. Maybe feeling that you put them through a relationship that you knew wouldn't last, not giving them a fair chance, a bad ending to things, you name it.

Along with that, it could also be (seeing as how any famous actor seems to have too many fans than they ever want)) a fear of the popperazzi. Fans are included in this. Showing that someone is always watching, or following. Always in the spot light, never leaving even for a moment. One bad move, and boom, ragged on by a public that knows nothing of the lifestyle. Constantly judging when they should be the ones before the jury. Like I said, that's simply a quick guess. I'd have to actually speak about this before I could lay down any more clues.

Regardless, dreams are typically straight forward. Showing fears, wants, emotions, we hide away during the day. The dream about the animal storm talked about first was pretty direct. Only with many reoccurring dreams does it show any true sign of hidden messages. While it only takes one dream to have subconscious meanings, usually reoccurring ones are the ones that matter most, showing unfinished business, or deep rooted problems that have yet to be brought to light by the conscious mind.

(As for the dream about murdering the family with a second self, there could also be another way to interpret that. I honestly think that it could just as easily be interpreted as a way to escape those that you feel you are forced to be with. Sometimes family can be preceived as a force that binds you to a single location, preventing someone from being free, or acting as they see themselves. The walls to your room burning down are what lead me to this conclusion. It was only your walls. ((This can show signs of destruction and dread which suggests the first idea of simple murder, however)) Due to the fact that the rest of the house was intact, it shows you feel as if you are stuck in a prison of sorts. Unable to leave home, and be on your own. Always under the rules of another. It might mean that you want to leave you house and home, and take charge of your own life, rather than letting others take charge of it for you.) Once again, nothing can ever be certain on dreams. It might have be just some random idea that popped into your head. But there is still good reason to read into them, and take them seriously as well.

Dustin the Wind - July 22, 2008 08:35 AM (GMT)
Woah, Ryou. That was deep.

Hey, Storm, I have to ask...who's the one getting run over? Is it me? PM me the answer if you don't want to talk about it here.

Parakaitz - July 22, 2008 08:40 AM (GMT)
I thought you knew? I thought I told you? Either way, it's not you.

Dustin the Wind - July 22, 2008 09:35 AM (GMT)
Is this the part where you tell me not to worry about it? Because I already am. Storm, for God's sake, won't leave this alone until I'm convinced that I've done everything I can to help. I love you, Storm, and I'm not just gonna walk away from this the way I walk away from everything else!
