Lets do this topic too. I was wondering what you guys think the worst drug is, if it should be legal, and like...different kinds, alcohol should be included, but not caffeine....or sugar lol
I for one think that many should be legal, but which ones if any.
heres a few
weed
speed
pcp
heroine
crack (crack is coke btw)
ecstasy
shrooms
LSD
salvia

Plants, yes, cook-ups, no. I've had a good friend that did pot, and he was about the coolest person I ever knew 'til he moved. But, on the other hand, I've seen two of my siblings ruined by meth (the drug of choice in these parts).

It would be difficult to determine the "worst drug" without taking into consideration many things. When seen on a global view, the impact a certain drug would have on society would hypothetically be more detrimental than the effect in would have on the individual.
I don't know many specifics about a lot of these drugs, but I'm aware what meth, heroin, and marijuana do to the body. I also understand what alcohol does, as well as some of the others.
Looking at this from a closer perspective, the worst drug that will harm the individual and psychologically(and physically, I suppose) harm the family and friends would be meth or heroin, in my opinion, and based on my knowledge of the two drugs.
On a larger spectrum, one of the drugs has a great effect on society, causing death and other social problems, some are possibly the same problems caused by other drugs. But I'd make the assertion that alcohol is the most detrimental drug to society, if for no other reason than that it is proven to put people not involved in danger. I am referring to car accidents and similar things.
As for the issue of legalizing drugs, the government is in place to look out for its subjects best interests. Legalizing meth and heroin and similar substances will only do society a dis-service, and will tempt those who make the substances to turn to producing stronger substances to keep their livelihood and the income of money following. It would be foolish to encourage them to search for stronger substances, which would put society, particularly the youth, in more danger.
The idea of legalizing marijuana, I am still a bit iffy on. It would be bad because hypothetically, some drug dealers would be put out of business, and there is a chance they would pursue narcotics and other illegal substances. If that were to be the case, the other drugs might eventually be as widely used as marijuana is, and the same debate over legalizing meth or heroin might pop up. Unless the government drew the line at legalizing marijuana, this move would cause major issues. There are the good sides of legalizing marijuana, including the guarantee that those who purchase it are receiving quality marijuana, and not a bunch of other shit thrown into it. However, it is assumable that there would be an age restriction of 18, similar to cigarettes, and if the drug was legalized, many would still be utilizing it outside of the law. One of the few things solved by legalizing marijuana would be that the substance would be purer and less of a risk to health, but marijuana already is a health risk to begin with, so I myself do not view that benefit as noteworthy.

Okay from what you said, I gotta ask...have you ever tried drugs? If so, my next question would be if you really knew the drug other than trying it. I only ask that because the way you talked only makes me think you have standard textbook knowledge of the subject, rather than a closer evaluation.
In regards to the worst drug, my money would have to be on heroin, as the high is enormous with a great potential to be dangerous for the first part, however, pcp follows the same line with greater hallucinations. The one thing that heroin has over pcp is the clear addiction. taking it the first time is a high you just want to come down from and once you do, you feel sick until you can reup (get more).
Meth in my opinion isn't nearly as bad. While it is addicting, you'd have to be amazing to deny any addiction after the third try. However, the only thing it really does to the person is make them awake, alert, you take in everything you try to learn amazingly quick, and can spend hours doing monotonous work which is why its such a popular drug. For me in particular, I used it to get my chops on drumming through the roof. After all, spending a day and a half on everything in drumming is a pretty good practice session. Coming off of it sucks though cause you feel drained.
I full heartily agree with you on alcohol with one small change. I think that the only reason why alcohol is the worst is simply because its common, found easily, and cheap. PCP couldn't fit those attributes.
You're right in the sense that drug dealers may go out of business, however the whole concept you were trying to get across seemed a bit iffy as well. Medical weed is extremely powerful, but also expensive. Dealers who couldn't compete are most likely to be small time dealers, who couldn't afford, and most likely lack the connections to switch to other drugs (and get a whole set of new customers). The big dogs wouldn't be affected at all in the sense that they deal with pounds of weed at a time. Also, not all weed buyers have money (like high schoolers). The reason its so common is cause its really cheap, non addictive, and non harmful apart from minor lung scarring from the smoke.
Also, there is no such thing as purer weed. The process works as such:
Stress
Pretendo
Chronic
Really good freakin' chronic (kush)
Top to bottom in order of worst to best. In a sense, the way it is, is all how you grow it. So a person with top of the line equipment, perfect growing conditions, and careful handling would have the most amazing kush ever, and stress would simply be some shit some guy grew out by a lake bed or something. Its a matter of how dry the plant is, and how healthy really. You want it to be hella sticky, fluffy (to see if it's dried out), color, and smell
